BOWL - Large Serving Dish

A large serving dish made from a speckled stoneware clay and high fired in a gas reduction kiln.

The reduction firing has enhanced the speckle producing a beautiful iron spec throughout the shiny white glaze and a golden glow where the glaze it thinner.  This has been fired to 1280 degrees C so is ovenproof.

It is a perfect baking dish for a meal to be cooked in the oven and serve straight to the table.
